neat patterns 

This is a corridor in the old section of the hospital where I work. I have always found this particular stretch of hospital spooky. Unsettlingly so: the hairs on the back of my neck always stand up when I pass through it. I have been told in the past that I do have a fairly good psychic sense, so I wouldn't mind betting something bad has happened here.UPDATE The nurses tell me this is where the old 'death room' used to be- ie where they put a patient who was about to die (so they weren't in a shared ward anymore). Doo de doo doo, doo de doo doo. Even spookier, now!

 

Midnight Laparotomy 

This church is on my way home from the library. Because of it's site, there is always interesting light behind it or around it. About three minutes after I took this the rain absolutely hammered down. I love the strong steeple rising into the dark, foreboding clouds. *Sigh* If only I had had a better camera
